Good design.
Looked after.

Ian Crisp is the founder, designer, and engineer behind Stone & Sea. He brings a computer science degree and a career at Walmart’s corporate headquarters, where he worked first as a senior analyst and later as a business merchant.

There, he combined technical and analytical expertise with commercial judgment to lead strategy and execution for a nine-figure business. That experience shaped a practical approach to design: understand the customer, make the important decisions clear, and build something that serves the business.

At Stone & Sea, Ian works directly with small-business owners to create more thoughtful website experiences—and explore where automation can make everyday work simpler. Website care is included within the published plan; automation and custom integrations are scoped and quoted separately.

From the first conversation through design and development, Ian is the person you will work with. Contact Ian directly.

Your business has its own character. We start with your services, imagery, and the questions customers ask, then shape the pages around them. The goal is a website people can understand and use, with a visual direction that fits your business.

You review the design before the build moves forward. After launch, we handle the hosting, routine technical upkeep, and small content changes within your monthly allowance.

Northline and Still / Well are original design concepts: architecture and wellness, explored in two different directions. They demonstrate our design approach and sample interactions; they are not client commissions. See both concepts.
