STONE & SEA / PRIVACY

Your inquiry.
Handled with care.

What the form collects

When you send a project inquiry, Stone & Sea LLC receives your name, email address, business name, and message. The form stores those details, a submission identifier, and a submission time in the website’s database. The design-preview request also collects a short business description and a website goal, along with any optional business, design, content, and project information you choose to provide. Briefs are saved as incomplete until you confirm your email with a six-digit code sent through the studio’s business Gmail account. Once confirmed, the complete brief is emailed to Ian. We record confirmation time, code expiry and attempt counts, delivery status and hashed session credentials. Codes expire after 15 minutes; retries and resends are limited. Codes and confirmation credentials do not appear in public links or analytics. Only enter the studio confirmation code in its dedicated field; never include passwords or other verification codes in brief answers. After payment, the launch-details form collects domain and access status, business contact details, shared asset links, final changes, and launch instructions. Drafts and submissions are stored in the website database and linked to your paid subscription. We send transactional welcome and confirmation emails to your checkout email and email submitted launch details to Ian. Personal form links are private and expire after 90 days.

Why we collect it

We use the information you provide to prepare an initial design, review your request, discuss the scope of a possible project, and respond to you. Please avoid including passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal details in your message.

Design-preview email, calls and texts

To request a preview, you provide an email address and a US mobile number and affirmatively authorize Stone & Sea LLC to contact you. Email permission covers your preview and related website services. A separate required checkbox authorizes personal live calls and individually sent texts about your requested preview and follow-up on that request, so we can reach you if email is missed. It does not authorize automated marketing texts, autodialed marketing calls, or artificial or prerecorded voice calls. Message and data rates may apply. This permission does not obligate you to purchase anything.

Reply STOP to a text to opt out or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop emails, calls or texts in ordinary language, or email ian@stoneandseastudio.com. We honor withdrawal requests and stop further optional follow-up. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We store your selections, contact details, the exact permission wording and version, and the server-recorded submission time with your brief and include them in the studio’s notification email. A saved permission record documents your choice at submission; it does not override a later opt-out. Mobile numbers and text opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. Service providers may process them only to operate our communications. No unrelated marketing subscription is created.

Discovery drafts and asset links

When browser storage is available, the design-preview form saves an unfinished draft in this tab’s session storage for up to 24 hours. Refreshing can restore your answers and a pending email-confirmation session. Contact-permission boxes must be checked again if you edit and resubmit the brief. Closing the tab may clear it. A draft is not sent to the studio or saved in the website database until you request a confirmation code. The tab’s draft and confirmation session are removed after email confirmation. Asset links are saved as text; the form does not download or publish your files. Share only materials you are comfortable providing to the studio, and do not include account credentials.

Website operations

The website uses hosting and database services to operate the form. Technical safeguards check submission origins, limit request sizes, and restrict repeated requests. A successful form confirmation means your inquiry has been recorded.

Anonymous experience measurement

We count page views and a small set of interactions, such as opening a concept, viewing pricing, and beginning or completing an inquiry or design-preview request, including reaching the second step. We also collect performance measurements grouped into quality ranges. These counts are grouped by page, day, and phone or larger screen; no cookies, visitor identifiers, query strings, referring addresses, or form contents are stored in this measurement system. Aggregate counts older than 90 days are removed when new measurement data is processed. Measurement is skipped when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

Your questions and requests

To ask about information you submitted, request a correction, or request deletion, contact ian@stoneandseastudio.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your information. Information needed for a subsequent service agreement or payment is subject to the applicable agreement and provider’s privacy information.
